One of the most incredible experiences of the planet !
Gray Whale Watching Tours
Laguna Ojo de Liebre (also known as Scammon's Lagoon) is located in the surroundings of Guerrero Negro, Baja California Sur, México. Gray whales have come for centuries to mate, calve, and relax before heading north to their arctic feeding grounds. To see the whales blowing, sounding, mating, and calving in their natural habitat is an awesome and inspiring experience. It's quite common for mother whales to bring their babies right up to the boat for a closer look! |

World Class Whale Watching Tours
During the season, December–April, Mario´s Tours offers whale-watching tours at Laguna Ojo de Liebre (also known as Scammon’s Lagoon) for groups up to 10 people.
During the top of the season, our vans leave daily from the Restaurant Mario´s at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. and drive, via the Salt Company roads, to our piere at the shore of the lagoon, where a panga takes our guests out to the sea for about three hours. Lunch is included in the tour fee.

Gray Whales in Baja. Get up close and personal with the friendly giants of Baja California!
The long gray whale migration from the frigid waters of Bering Sea to the warm water lagoons of the Baja Peninsula has long attracted our attention. These great animals had been hunted nearly to extinction and have just barely survived as a species. Now, visitors can journey to see these magnificent creatures and experience one of the world’s most memorable wildlife adventures. Of all the natural experiences in the world, you'll never forget a close encounter with a gentle, 30-ton animal with baby in tow! |
